Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions and also the floor exercises. On the balance beam Raisman was awarded a bronze. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to win the highest number of medals during the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team event. This earned both she and Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans to ever win consecutive team golds. Also, silver medals were awarded at the all-around event as well as floor workouts. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor workouts. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her line of signature leotards and socks later on. She's writing a book entitled Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
