Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American musician, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is a fusion of the name a loved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013, he signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015), his debut album on the studio was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was made in collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the second quarter of 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott was the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within the span of a year.
