Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born 7 May 1998) is an American YouTube personality and entrepreneur. [6] He is credited for establishing an YouTube video genre that is focused on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson was just 13 when began uploading his videos to YouTube under the name "MrBeast6000". His initial content included "Let's Plays" and "videos that estimate the how much other YouTubers have." He became famous in the year 2017 after his "Counting To 100,000" video garnered tens to thousands of views in a matter of days. Once his channel took off, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to run the rising brand. As of 2022 the MrBeast team consisted of 60 people.Donaldson's primary YouTube channel, which reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022, is referred to as "MrBeast".
