 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actor when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (from). She was also a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents and her left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she dropped out after her sophomore year. She then obtained the GED and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
